This policy explains what information amtocsoft ("we") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim for plain language — no buried surprises.

What we collect

  • Account information: When you register, we store your email address and a hashed password. We do not ask for your real name, home address, or phone number to create an account.
  • Estimate content: The estimates you build and save (business name, customer details, line items) are stored so you can access them. Do not put sensitive information in estimates — treat them like documents you'd hand to a customer.
  • Usage data: We log basic, anonymized analytics (which pages are visited, approximate region) to understand how the tool is used and improve it. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
  • Payment data: When you subscribe, payment processing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your card number — Stripe tokenizes it. We only store your subscription status and Stripe customer ID.
  • Server logs: Our hosting provider (AWS) and web infrastructure (Cloudflare) may log standard request data (IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service (your account, your saved estimates).
  • To send essential account emails (password reset, billing receipts).
  • To understand aggregate usage and improve the product.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and the normal functioning of the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

  • Your account and saved estimates are kept as long as your account is active.
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).
  • Server and analytics logs are retained for a limited period and then automatically deleted.

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).

Security

We use industry-standard practices: encrypted password hashing, HTTPS for all connections, and no storage of payment card data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

amtocsoft is a business tool and is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
